Does your office have one? Do you know who it is? Are you it?
The way I see it - If you're ing up in the workplace, that is NOT my problem. But if it's something that is going to affect MY work, or might potentially get the whole office in trouble (no bonus' for your stupid behavior), I WILL rat you out (anonymously). I am NOT losing my job over your dumbass actions, end of story. Times are tough, it's not as easy as it used to be to find a new job. |

I would call out anyone to their face if what they were doing could result in me losing my job. I've already called out people for talking at my last job. Whether it was in private or in front of my manager and the boss. I'm not really scared to let someone know that I don't like them or what they're doing if I feel that I have to.
Anyone who isn't a completely spineless coward or idiot would do the same. I would tell them directly before going to the higher ups in all cases, because if you are risking my job with your bull, I won't be too happy about that. Maybe I'm an , but I won't be nice or whiny about something like that. I've been in confrontations with co-workers that have almost gotten physical. I know it sounds so childish but when you work with a bunch of men, you'll find that they tend to get in each other's faces. Men tend to be more direct and aggressive, women more indirect and diplomatic. Not always, but usually.
I will verbally embarrass you and do my best to get you to stop doing what you're doing, or have you eliminated from the workplace. I don't think that's unfair, do you? |

I am like this also, but my last job taught me I have to be careful. I was not well liked by a select few people because I was not candy coating anything I said. Two of those people could get me fired in an instant because they are cunts. I was not about to risk my job for them two.
I will go tell someones boss if their ups affect me, but only after talking to them directly. I find that is usually quite effective as most people HATE when you go above their head. |

one of my coworkers is ing obnoxious and sheisty and she thinks she is slick. i rat her out a lot because she does whatever the she wants (overnights her car payment with the firm's postage) and my boss rarely catches her and she gets away with murder practically and yet if me or any other coworker even mess up printing an envelope or something retarded like that, he flips. a lot of this has to do w/ the fact that we all sit right near his office so he watches us like hawks, but this chick's desk is more towards the back so she comes in late a lot and doesn't get caught, and yet if the new file clerk is like 3 minutes late, she literally will say to her, "you need to get here on time" and she isn't even the office manager! lol she is demented.
she also just recently tried to sabotage the hiring of a new receptionist. she wanted my boss to hire her friend and he wasn't crazy about the idea but said he wanted to see what kind of resumes he got first before he made that decision. well she purposely wasn't giving him resumes or setting up interviews because she wanted him to cave and hire her friend. i went right to him and told.
i know i sound like a brat but my entire office hates this bitch, it's not just me. she is the most power hungry and pathetic person i have ever met. anyway, it's fun to get her in trouble because 90% of the time she walks around like she owns the place and when she gets busted and put in her place, we're all like AAAH HAAA! :disbelief
wow i obviously had to vent. lol god i hate her.
oh and one more thing...i have on many occasions said stuff straight to her face so it's not like i just always tell on her. i am probably the only person in the office that she doesn't try her bull with because she knows i will straight up laugh in her face and call her out. it's just when she does things behind the whole firm's back and my boss is sitting there trusting this skank, i have to tell him because of the simple fact that i'm principled and fair. |
