Of course now "Djs" don't even beatmatch...they have a laptop and just drag, drop and paste one song after the other on say Ableton. Oh they'll say these sorts of programs allow them to be "creative" and remix on the fly, but its a crock of . If you listen to the mix and then each of the tracks individually there's hardly any change. The Dj might add a sweep or whoosh here and there for dramatic effect, but that's it.
When I go to the live show I want to see the person actually PERFORM instead of clicking away on some damn computer screen. |

He's so right...screw the majority of Dj's, they may be good customers but theyre soul is not right...they are taking too much credit for nothing. If you can't make at least 1/3rd of the music on your own, either because you don't understand music nor lacks the technicalities, you're just another fungus playing what you think people like to hear, taking most of the credit for another mans hard late-night work, when you in reality just scratched your ass and smelled it.
The I-can-act-like-I-tweak-some-buttons-attitude is amazingly dull and transparent...and most of the crowd are brainwashed enough to think, oh he's so talented, how does he do that!
btw.where did it say he hated ALL dj's...just to get the right context for your thread title.
I just said this cuz to oppose the majority is what I like the best:) |

He said he hated dj's. Since he didn't specify any DJ in particular, it is obvious that he is talking about all dj's, as a collectice.
It's like if I said "People from Porsgrunn are ing inbred losers". I am of course talking about every person living in Porsgrunn, since the I am not specifying the subject to anything smaller than the whole town of Porsgrunns inhabitants.
Just replace "people from porsgrunn" with DJ's, and "ing inbred losers" with ing cvnts, and you have what fukmau5 said. |

I'm not from Porsgrunn...thankfully:) I just work and study there...
So you say people from porsgrunn are inbred loosers, and you mean every ing single one them bastards living in Porsgrunn? I don't think so...You mean the majority of them...in every society and community there is exceptions. That is and should always be a finger-rule.
But whatever, Dj's in the context he is logically interpreting it, is the loosers which don't understand music and plays the top 100 on beatport and knows how to change tracks...that's how I see it. |
