but do you go to guvy to pick up girls? i dont, circa is more that kind of place, as the night went on they became increasingly scarce

Are you using imageshack? They changed it around a little while ago. Try clicking on the link (which takes you to the photo) then right-click and select "copy image location" (if you're using firefox). paste that link on TA :)

Off to the side of that place was this glass enclosed collection of these silly looking bunnies going round and round. I really wished I had my vidcam to record them.
Took this last February-ish

I thought Cox was OK...but seriously, I don't go to hear a $30 K plus DJ drop Grindhouse and Smoke Machine anymore...we need a little more originality then that, especially at his level/experience at DJing and producing.
I don't think any amount of looping and effects can make cliche tracks sound all that interesting.
Its really a shame that the room was a quarter or third full for Luca Bacchetti ( a 9/10 set IMO, compared to Cox's 6/10 show) and it was this RAMMED for Carl Cox....rammed to a point where it was not really enjoyable. The best sound was on the main floor but it was impossible to move there. The view/sound from the balcony on 2nd floor was fine but as already mentioned, thru-fair traffic was unbearable.
Kudos to the management at Circa, however. They are focusing on bringing better DJs this year and its is noticeable. I hope they keep building the on their success with good cutting edge music as I think they have a better chance at reaching a wider audience of music lovers and not just party sketchers who will listen to any loud pounding and flashing lights regardless of the quality of music as long as they are ed up.
Names like Carl Cox help draw first timers to a new club which in itself is useful at this point...

I told you not to take his set too seriously ^^ :p
Fun night. Carl was good because he was playing fun big room tunes. Wasn't expecting much more. It's Carl... his mind blowing sets don't exist anymore. There were definately some highlights though.. hearing some older tracks such as Peace Divison - What Is That Sound was a treat for me. Couldn't stand the crowdedness for a while but I had to deal... but the excess amount of boobies made me forget. ;)
There were some characters there...oh yes..
I'm loving Circa's bookings this Fall...they're on fire!! It's only a matter of time before they steal the show, but for me, they already have.

so did Carl drop Len Faki - Death by House?
all you had to do was ask me for it. that chop is at least 3 years old....sad that its probably my best chop
