Im trying to get a list of the american cities with the largest most vibrant dance scenes. I mean obviously NYC, LA, Chicago, San Francisco, and Miami/DC, have nice scenes as well.

But im trying to figure out which cities should make a top 10 list.

any ideas? I kinda want to base it on the number of international acts coming through every weekend, and large main room-style clubs.

Boston seemes to be really shooting up as a big edm city lately. Lots of big djs making appearances up there.
Watts
I used to hit up the D.C. metro often and did not like it, but when it's your only source of electronic music you do what you must.

Denver is an excellent place, though, which surprises me. Check out the listing in the West Coast section of this message board.

I have to move back East once winter is over, and I am in no way looking forward to leaving Denver.

It has always been a hotspot - especially the Avalon/Axis heyday.

Yeah, never been to Denver, but have heard a lot about some interesting gigs there... A lot of DJs we know about from Europe but have never been to NYC/DC/Boston, I've seen have been to Boston... Leon Bolier and Sied Van Riel are examples I think?

Possibly. But, I think Vegas is to fickle and trendy to really support a good scene.

Lizard Lounge is the downfall of Dallas.

Go to any of those other cities and there a multiple venues that aren't holes.
