Indeed. Lots of people that wouldn't ever touch a cigarette often seem comfortable to smoke from a narghile around here.

actually the better tobacco's have less nicotine then the cheaper brands(most of the time) like nakhla. But people it's smoke again bad for you no matter what. If you do it right though you can at least lower the risks and the carcinogens your breathing in. Oh the herb ones are pure e. Tried em once never again. For all you hookah newbies ill tell it to you so hopefully you do it the right way.
Get a decent hookah, especially one without a copper stem coating on the inside. Foil at teh top is fine, I would actually suggest a screen. Allows you to control the burning rate of the tobacco more and pull out burnt peices during the smoke session, keeping it clean tasting.
As for tobacco, dont cheap out. Remember the cheaper ingredients, worse leaves, burns terribly and tastes awfull. List goes on. I only use starbuzz, but there are other ones just as good. Al faker, Havanna (i dont like but some people rave about it) Fuzion, Poison (Both these are similar to starbuzz except more nicotine for an "extra buzz".
Ice in the vase isn't a must but has always made the experience better. ALso put your hose in the freezer for an hour or longer. We keep three in at all time. REALLY COLD SMOKE.
Then if your a crackhead you can sprinkle bud on top for an extra kick. Some people find it sacrilegious I prefer it haha.

also forgot to mention. Depending on the size of your bowl, remember leave some space between the tobacco and teh screen. YOU DONT WANT DIRECT CONACT. Remember hookah is supposed to be indirect burnin of the tobacco. A little tobacco in a hookah can go a long way so dont always think more is better. |
