Same here, I really did have a great time, I just wouldn't want to do it again. I think the thing I miss most is the lack of responsibility. |
Exactly. |

When I went to college, what I had a hard time getting my mind around was how I was able to sit through class after class for seven or so hours a day, five days a week. |
Yeah, it does seem odd when I think back on it. How did I ever put up with being in the classroom for thirty-five hours a week?
:wtf: |

Yes but you barely learn anything in high school, so sitting through those classes isn't demanding at all. It's just like a lame 9 to 5 job where you sit on your ass all day - except you don't get paid. |
Yeah, but it's a lot easier to not learn a thing in college, because teachers are far less concerned with who you are and how you're doing, especially in larger classes. |

Yes but you barely learn anything in high school. | What? Maybe YOU didn't learn anything. A lot of what I learned has been applied to different aspects of my life thus far. if I didn't learn it there I probably wouldn't have learned it at all. |

| I definitely loved every bit of highschool, but in no way was it the best years of my life. |

| Yeah high school was fun. Got to play sports in my freshman year but my sophmore I wasnt able too cause my grades were to bad. Nothing beat 6th period woodshop. Did nothing but draw pictures of people and make smoking pipes. My junior and senior year sucked cause I went to independent study once a week. Got to work a full time job as a line cook so that was cool. 0 bills, no responsibilities. Hell yeah highschool was fun. Now 3/4 of my income goes towards bills and I got to work to live n . |

Well let's see...
French classes every year -- after HS I switched to the english system and never looked back
English as a second language -- loltastic, the system was a joke, probably some crazy separatist plot to keep kids from learning english
Math -- After they let me use a calculator, I forgot everything I learned previousely. As for the rest - I use some sec1 level stuff once in a few months or so. 90% of it is pretty useless.
Phys Ed -- don't know, I skipped all the classes
I did do a ton of learning during that period of my life, but most of it was from the internet. |

I was working my ass off in High School. I had to take AP classes, prepare for tests, extracurriculars, !
I feel relieved in a way, less controlled... |
