My buddies and I got there at about 7:30. Two of them had VIP tickets while me and my other bud had GA. We parked somewhere around the back looking for the "VIP" parking. Needless to say, parking was $25.

The VIP guys went to will call, while my other bud and I went to a GA entrance next to the VIP entrance that was extremely short. We were inside within 10 mins:D

After meeting up inside we went to check out JOC as it was our first time seein him play. And he just tore it up!! I love how he starded his set with SVD's new track 'Get Down'. Completely set the mood for the rest of his set. Unfortunately, or fortunately two of the guys wanted to go see the Swedish House Mafia, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso. So we go to the outside stage where they're playing their remix of Sweet Dreams. The entire crowd was singin along, especially when they paused.

Fact of the matter is, these two guys brought the ing house down!!!!!! :eyes:  :eyes: It was bar none, the best house set I have ever heard!!! Every single track seemed to be filled with the sickest beats. The crowd was going nuts! I really wish I could relive that! They set the bar so high, that everything else that followed paled in comparison imo.

We all wanted to check out Markuz as he's never dissapointed. But none of us could leave that damn stage as these two spinned! It was ING AMAZING!

The dj that followed was good, but wasn't delivering the energy that Angello & Ingrosso displayed. So we figured break. Drinks, smokes, walk. We hit the stage again for Lawler at 2. And it was good, but I felt PVD might provide some more enegy. So my buddy and I find our way down to the main room. As it seems they closed the entrance from the outside. It was riduculously packed, hot, and to add insult to injury, PVD SUCKED!!! :wtf: I saw him at EDC, and he did good. But he really bit the big one last night! Aside from 3-4 good tracks, he just slowed it down, and got to cheesy. Looked at my buddy and said, lets get the out of here.

We killed an hour for PVD. Worst decision of the night. Catched the last 25 mins of Lawler. And that was it!

All I want now is some damn Swedish House!:toothless

Anyone know where I can get some current sets of these two?!?!?!

Ya.. i read somewhere that it wasnt the loudness that gives you the ringing in your ears, but the frequency.

it has to do with the loudness AND the length of exposure AND every frequency matters.

Thanks man! I've had alldj bookmarked for some time now. It was the first place I checked today. And there was nothing to dl on Angellos name. That is until I ran a search on the sites engine, which I've never done before, and wallah! Dl Best of Swedish House Mafia right now!

Gonna bookmark newmixes too. Though the only set they had was unavailable:confused:

Also dl some sets from themixingbowl.org :D

Three of us drove up from San Diego, checked into hotel around 9pm, arrived @ MM at 10pm. We usually go early to avoid lines, but damn.. such a long wait.

The groovetickets line was just a huge cluster, so we tried walking around to see the other entrances. The one right along Figueroa(?) was way down the block, so we kept walking to the back.

BINGO! The rear entrance line was a <10 minute wait, got in, got some water, and found some seats just in time for Markus' set. Wish we could've seen some JOC, but the traffic on the 5N & 101N was ridiculous.

Markus' set had it's moments, but the DJ that did it for me was The Judge. He threw it down with a ton of great hard tracks, I loved it. Didn't like hearing the same tracks I heard an hour earlier, but eh.. I'll let it slide.

Paul van Dyk is a ing joke. The middle of his set was bangin, but WHAT THE was he doing at the end?! Once we heard that garbage noise, we left with the quickness.

We didn't deal with the crowds much since we were in the bleachers, but I still saw tons of kids.. ugh.

This is 99% our last MM. Just too much of a hassle to get things right, and it gets worse every year. We'll probably stick to the club scene since the DJ's play longer sets (except OnBroadway's asshat 90-minute sets) for less money out of pocket.

Overall, 7/10.

Their set? Or just the song? The remix itself is available online.
