I liked PVD's set, although he sticks more to fav hits at a massive. Was pissed to see potter's vodka in VIP and Belvedere out in the gen admiss area! I would have paid $2 more per drink in VIP for premium, but it was ty vodka or beer so I drank beer instead :(
may never do VIP again because of this! Overall had a great time though!

I've been going to Monster Massive for 5 years in a row now, and last year I said that was going to be the last one for me and I still went to this one, but this one will definitely be the last.
The organization of the event is just getting worst every year, and part of the problem is more and more people goes every year and they simply need to move it out of the sports arena.
It is extremely packed, so much that one of my biggest complaints is that after seeing PVD for like 40 minutes (which by the way, it was his best set i've heard ever), I decided to go check out Steve Lawler because I was dying to see him.. So I was there for like 20 minutes and had to go get some friends who were sitting inside, and police didn't let us go back in. We had no cell phones, so we were totally left without knowing anything about each other. It was extremely frustrating. We did make a plan in case we got lost but ha! it was seeing ourselves inside!
So yeah, the music and the dj's are good but the event totally sucks now, it just got too commercial. I think I had more fun drinking at the hotel and going to hollywood the next day.

It's a 15 hour drive. Took us 11 hours to get there and more than 15 back home, lol.
