| Are you serious? My bosses (the owners) curse more then us. |

| I swear only when my boss isn't around. Kind of what you have to do in a multi-billion dollar corporation. |

My work environment is highly restrictive on every level. Not only do I have to watch what I say, but I have to extremely careful how I say it. Please and thank you are mandatory when addressing anyone in the company. Anything less then total suck-up, fake, kiss-ass way of speaking is completely discouraged.
Sometimes I wish I was a mechanic or construction worker... |

its considered "unprofessional" and some people get offended by it. i try to keep it to a minimum, unless i'm with people i know are OK with it.
other times i get so frustrated i can't help but say, "well, what the ?!?!!?" |

| You can say just about anything you want to where I work. Lets put it this way... During a 75 minute presentation at one of our company gatherings a few months back, in a room packed with around 60 people, one of our CEO's said the work "" around 100 times. I was counting but lost track. He said probably just as many and said "ing " in regards to one of our investors. He insulted previous partners and called some of the present ones incompetent. I have heard him curse before but never in a setting like this. I sat speechless and looked at the faces of the new people in the company who were present. This is certainly not normal in the workplace but is the case at where I presently work. s and s fly around here like its nothing. |

| I have a friend who works at a major european confectionary company (lol not many of them) and whenever the owners fly over to her office here, they are the most womanizing filthy men, she says that they're always looking to get all the "benefits" of being wined a dined and going to gentlemen's clubs, etc... lol oops I digress... |

| I work at a restaurant so I'm not supposed to swear, but I always do in the middle of the dining room. I'm sure parents and their little kids hear me and probably think I'm a terrible person, but I am so whatev. |

This is exactly what I thought when I first read the thread title. |
