Exactly. I can understand people being offended if you swore AT them, but I hate these prudish types who become offended by the slightest little thing they hear, even if it's not directed at them.

That about sums up my work, but we swear in the office too. I had two co-workers who were best friends but used to delight in swearing at each other all day.
They used to take the same freeway to work and would constantly give each other the bird in traffic. One day one guy sent the other a text saying "I hope you crash reading this, you cunt".
Most common in our office is abusing clients and retarded people AFTER you hang up the phone. Generally we do not swear at one another. |

Usually I'm cursing at my computer because the main application we deal with 95% of the time takes extremely long to finalize and upload to the online server. I'm in a corner and I say it under my breath so it's nothing too major.
Other than that I occasionally swear during lunch when eating with coworkers. |
