My thoughts and those who want to bring up the assasination topic are that they are undereducated about what really matters and just want to be a part of the coversation.
It's getting old. If it happens it will be one of the saddest days in US history on par with 9-11. |
how is bringing up the very real possibility that an assassination could occur being under educated on what really matters? I agree it would be a very sad day in US History but there is a very real threat of an assassination. There are too many radicals out there that not only disagree with Obama's political stances but also dislike the fact that he is not a good christian white boy. Obama probably has the highest risk for an assassination attempt of any past president. |

My thoughts exactly.
The world is watching this election, and they're entitled to an opinion - particularly after the U.S. single handedly brought the global financial system to its knees in the last several months. |
that and the high cost of oil... |

Yes they were, he's just saying Obama has the highest risk in being assistanted than any previous president possibly because he's not a 'good christian white boy' as he put it. |

i think what he's getting at is that there have been President's who haven't been as 'high risk' that have been assassinated.
Since he is a 'higher-risk', there is a likely chance of something bad happening.

Because people posting in the thread are not American, they are not entitled to an opinion? Or is it that you feel yours is simply more valuable because of your citizenship? Pretty condescending RJ.
For countries that are as extensively intertwined as Canada and the US, I'd say everyone on here has more than a right to an opinion on this election. |
i don't think that rj is saying that we cAn't have an opinion. it's just different when you are in the process than watching from outside.
everyone in the world thinks that obama is the right choice but we don't have to live with the consequences of making a bad choice. we also don't have the day to day circumstances that they live with down there. we also don't know all the ads and all the craziness that goes on.
or he could be condescending and if that's true then to hell with him! lol. |
