Gallery crowd...Drink crowd....2 different crowds, one no better than the other as I like to party with both, but still different....
Will Joe and Fab step it up to a zone calibre or will they keep the sound in they typically play in the drink? I'd love to see them bang it out like they do at zone or like they did at footwork....
I think some dj's are made for the gallery...I'm not going to name name's but not all of our locals fit the room or sound...which is fine i just hope that whoever is booking the gallery can acknowledge that....
I'll personally miss the whole process of bouncing from drink to gallery all night.
We were very lucky to have M&S rip it all night in one room, as mentioned it really feels like they its ACTUALLY their room...that being said as the indie rock venture fails in the gallery so will mashup in the drink, as it is truely a fad...sure it will be around in a couple of years but i see it as the whole electro phase toronto went through a couple of years back.
I'd like to say joe and fab will be back in the drink by this time or sooner next year...with the bi weekly slot in the mainroom, they have definite oppurtunity to seize the mainroom...

mashup has been huge in the toronto club scene for quite some time now but most people here have been living under a rock so they would have no idea.

I was pushed around purposely by two idiots twice last weekend on my way to the Drink. Needless to say I never bothered with it after that.
