I lived in Nicaragua during the Contra-Sandinista era.
Sandinistas were true communist following the steps of Castro but the
country figured it out after 9 years where they were heading.
They took the richest of richests properties and kept them for the sandinistas leaders while outsting the real owners.
Then they took food and started rationing it.
No supermarkets were allowed, and if you had a farm, you worked for them. They took the milk and also sold it in rations. If you had more than you should have, they had watchdogs that would rat you out just so THEY could get little bit more.

I grew up LDS not FLDS. HUGE difference.

LOL I never went on a mission. I quit going 100% when I was 18. Haven't been to church since. |
