REVIEW: Tiesto @ Circa (pg. 4)

It was a decent night overall. Highlight of the night was getting to hangout without everyone and seeing people I haven't seen in a while!
Musically though, I was disappointed. I know what to expect when I go see Tiesto, and all I really wanted to hear were the classics. But no, he couldn't even give me one!!!!
Ah well. That'll probably be the last time I see him.

Not him. Its z103 that attracts the crowd. If z103 didnt advertise tiesto there wouldnt be alot of z103 crowd. (I know they didnt advertise tiesto at circa, but at fukn ricoh they did)
Shocking though, 2 days ago my freinds from work were like "whos this tiesto guy? heard hes coming to circa this weekend, are you going?" ... when i asked them how do they know tiesto, they said they listen to z103...:mad:
so like i mentioned before, its not tiesto, its fukn Z103!!:whip: |

every time I've seen Tiesto in North America its the same annoying crowd...it has nothing to do with Z103.5. I'll never see Tiesto in North America again...if I ever see him again it will be somewhere in Europe |

He played a few good tracks but definitely no classics. The crowd was exactly what i expected... i kept getting poked by hardened gel spikes from the ginos' hair. No room to REALLY dance, but that okay considering the set wasn't doing anything for me anyway.
All in all, it was an okay night, but i think the next time he comes, i'll think twice about going.

I couldn't have put it any better myself Tamar! I couldn't believe the gay he was playing at times. His set had no flow whatsoever, except the last 45 mins or so when he started to pull it together a bit.
But going form Chakalaka into Full Tiltin... I was like YES, now's he's gonna bring it.... then back with some gay . I was really disappointed. I know lots of people it was their first time seeing him and saying how much they were really liking him, I thought the complete opposite.
Bonus of the night, Tiesto's tunes banging in every room in Circa last night! He had the whole club to himself! Thank you Circa! We could always find a place to dance in other rooms.
HUGE MEH for Tiesto last night. It was the 3rd I seen him this year, and was probably the worst set I've ever heard from him. Pity. I think I was spoiled with his set Trance Energy this year, because THAT'S the Tiesto I know!

Its not all of z103's fault, but i would say 70% of it is. The other 30% is the general public (just there for fun), which i find annoying at any event. Last night, I would probably say 85% was z103 crowd..:D |

I know!...I Waited til 5 am just for him to play traffic, leathal industry or adiago for strings...i just wanted one!!! but he did not deliver at all.
but I saw alot of people i knew , so it was fun, really overcrowded though.
how do TA's Meet again? I go to these events but have not even met a TA! |

Yeah, i'm like just giving Flight/Suburban/Lethal or SOMETHING! But nothing!
Usually the TAs are only in specific areas of the club.
ie. the best sound and best area to dance :D
Just ask for the next party you go to where the typically area is.

That's how much it was at the door?! holy
My roommate didn't come because I told him I heard it'd be $70 at the door and he said it wasn't worth that much. I can only imagine how he would've reacted to a cover that steep. Gadzooks! |
