If you're upset he didn't play those tracks then you need not bother going to a tiesto show rather just stay home and play a live set of his
I would rather see Tiesto break out some trance classics like SilverBath, Free Radical or Airtight then rather then his own producations...
I saw him at Webster Hall over the summer and i was happy he didn't play any of those tracks. Its becoming Redundant hearing the same ol Tiesto producations

Its all z103's fault. I dont blame tiesto. The dj has to play what the crowd likes, and in this case it was all z103 crowd, hence z103 music. I want to see tiesto again, but not in toronto (bcuz of z103 crowd). I hope he doesnt play like he did last night when he is in amsterdam. If he does, then I wont be excited to see him at all. :(

I love this... fans making up excuses for what DJ's play. Since Z103 has been airing live from the guv, I've never heard one DJ play anything different from what they would anywhere else. In fact, guv is one of the places most international DJ's talk most complimentary about because Mark Oliver, like him or not, usually gives the headliner the option of playing until close, hence allowing them to build as long as they'd like. I'm not too sure on the politics behind the promoters at Circa, but I'm assuming that if someone like Tiesto comes to town, he has so many requirements to bring him in that they must already know what to expect and there for it would be a waste to say 'play this way, it's how they want it'. I'm not denying that things like that happen in the world, probably in Toronto also, but it's important to remember that Tiesto is one of the few guys who will 9.9/10 always have the upper hand when a conversation occurs over what he will play that night.

This is my first time seeing Tiesto, and he's been on my list of DJ's to see since 2000. To be honest the set overall wasn't bad, there wasn't really a flow but he did play some nice tracks. The thing that got to me was the crowd, it was a really bad crowd. There was a fight right in front of where we were standing. There was a couple basically humping on the dance floor. A couple of guys from VIP sprayed champagne all over the crowd and I think some of it hit Tiesto and the electronics. There was A LOT of people with bad B.O. and the main floor was just packed! I don't think I'll ever go to a Tiesto show again.. the crowd he attracts is just crap.
SASHA :D
Orko
Yes, because everybody in attendance tells Circa at the door where they came from and what their influences were.
"OK Tiesto, today we have a generic mix, 66% Z103'ers, 14% skasians, and 20% noob, please play the following tracks.'

I too expected more from Tiesto, but like many of you he was on my list of dj's to see... Now I can cross him off and move on.. Had a solid time though... Stayed up in the vip/bottle service area for most of the night.. Tried to find a spot on the floor when Tiesto opened up, but it was horrible!
Justin Timberlake - Lovestoned... My fav part of his set...

well, I gotta say I had a great time...mostly because of the company :D love partying with all you guys, esp in our own little spot in the ballroom, where the sound was great!
Tiesto started out pretty boring, he'd play a good track, then boringboringboring, good track, more boring...it definitely picked up an hour or two in. The set wasn't amazing, and the set flow really wasn't happening, but definitely heard a few tracks with amazing buildup and BOOM great drop (which none of us were able to id!). Oz, you recorded a couple of them right??
SO happy to hear Chakalaka too :D
Overall, friends > Tiesto!!!

lol I was underage everytime he came to town up till 2004. And after that, every show he did was like 80 bucks to see. So I couldn't really justify paying that much just to see him lol
