| Yikes, just found out the earliest I can leave Friday is around 7pm from Sac, which means around 1am arrival in LA. Guess the pre-party will have to start in the car. Still working on bringing one of my girls from Sactown. |

I love peruvian food. Never been to where you recommend, but my fav is El Pollo Inka. The Lomo Saltado...soo good. Especially with the green sauce they give you...all you want. I put it over everything. i wish I knew what that sauce is called.
Postives of it are the pricing with the portions. Huge portions, well priced. Waiters can be a bit snubbish and slow sometimes, but the food makes up for it. On the weekends they have live music and I just find it annoying...not because of the music, but because it's so loud you can't conversate at the table....
Oh yeah, and not near any of the clubs lol
This all said, I really haven't had much other peruvian down there...up here though, the few places I've been don't even come close....and it'll cost twice as much here. |
I've never been to the Amoeba in SF, so I can't say if it is better than the SF one, but the times I've gone, I've been able to find some great stuff for really cheap. I don't think they have a resident trance expert because I got some really good records for cheap. The cheapest record I ever bought was Robbie Flex - Inflexible for a dollar. I also found Gouryella - Ligaya for $6. :D
That Peruvian place I mentioned has pretty good sized portions. It's good for 2 people or 1 really hungry dude, and it's well priced too. Not sure about the live music, but the place isn't too big to have one, as far as I know. I think the green sauce you're referring to is called "Ahi" (AH-HE). ;)
^This is when my friends and I went for lunch. I'm sure the dinner portions are bigger. :) |

| hmmm, that lomo looks like it's lacking a good amount of freis in it. It looks like they lay ut like 4 fries on the bottom and put the rest right on top of that. hehe |

| for some reason i was thinking second sun for this night rather than solarstone!!!!!! this makes it a gazillion times better cause second sun at giant/vanguard earlier in the year was terrible if not the worst show i went to this year :sadgreen: |

likelihood of me going has just bumped up a bit.. maybe 90% sure now.
so does circus close at 4am sharp? or is 4am more realistically 3:30am, etc? any chance of it going a little later? 4am is way too early for us SFTAs |
