Faith can only take you so far.

I go by what I've heard with my own ears over time.

I love to be come out unexpectedly impressed/happy. Let's hope this happens on this night.

And yes, I am talking about progression, playing proper, playing what works with the crowd, and not playing cheese.

There is a huge patio at Circus...no one is afraid to go outside to chill for awhile if the music isn't cutting it.

man, chill out. Stop being so critical and have some fun.

I was in a grouchy mood last week, lol.

If I can go I'll have fun...but I'll be honest about the sets. :0

Speaking of Amoebas, I think you guys should check out the Amoeba store in Hollywood before you guys leave.

Also, if you're interested in Peruvian food there's a really good restaurant called "Los Balcones del Peru" on Vine Street. There's also a really good Thai place on Hollywood Blvd past Vanguard called "Palms". They even got a singing Thai Elvis. :tongue3 :)

There's an Amoeba in SF on Haight (Taj has a bird's eye view of its rear!)....the one down there better? would def check it out sometime when I'm down there if it is!

I love peruvian food. Never been to where you recommend, but my fav is El Pollo Inka. The Lomo Saltado...soo good. Especially with the green sauce they give you...all you want. I put it over everything. i wish I knew what that sauce is called.

Postives of it are the pricing with the portions. Huge portions, well priced. Waiters can be a bit snubbish and slow sometimes, but the food makes up for it. On the weekends they have live music and I just find it annoying...not because of the music, but because it's so loud you can't conversate at the table....

Oh yeah, and not near any of the clubs lol

This all said, I really haven't had much other peruvian down there...up here though, the few places I've been don't even come close....and it'll cost twice as much here.

alright, i am going to try really hard to make this. maybe fly, but worst case scenario i'll rent a car friday morning or something. i'll try to make it to 1015 next weekend and maybe talk to some of you to try to figure out some arrangement if anyone else doesn't have their plans set yet.

Think a few peeps are driving down on Friday or something...someone hass to have a spot for you.

I'll prob be flying down to LA that Saturday morning.
