Can't believe its already Thursday...
Packin things gettin stuff ready for the road trip tommorow. Its been a while since me and Lynn been to SoCal, so lookin forward to seein some friends we havent seen in a while, and make some new ones.
Dont really get a chance to play other venues very much, and wanna thank Gil-la and everyone at Nikita for this. Talkin with Thrillseekers this morning he said that I'd love the place, and you guys are a way cool group to boot.
Ill be filming most of the night and will try to capture everyone on at some point of the night, Artimus cant make it, so it will only be me filmin. I have a couple wideangle and fisheye lens for my videocam, been wanting to try these out.
Also will be recording this night and think I have a spare computer for the main to record also. If its ok with you guys and I can setup.
For now, preparin for this and leavin here around 12ish tommorow afternoon. Hope everyone has a safe trip flyin and drivin. Tommy, and Rafal are comin up with me and Lynn, so we will see you guys in the evening somewhere. I think we rented a Hybrid SUV Lexus or something... (If anyone's stranded or not enough room somewhere, lemme know we'll give you a lift)
Got a few more CDs to burn for tonight so ill pretty much be mixin until then...
If you see me, say hello cause I definitely wanna meet some of you LATA's and stuff from around!

Absolutely. Time is time. It doesn't make sense for me to constantly promote on this forum when it's obviously a pretty educated music community therefore it's more so often a person from here will quickly decide which events they want to attend. You'll notice this reading posts from people who love techno vs the ones who love trance.
Therefore with Nikita having extreme competition the same night, these promoters need all the help they can get in Southern California. I'm not talking about myspace, facebook, etc - I don't even "rely" on these tools to pull numbers, I just use them to make a presence.
I'm talking about different strategies taking advantage of the fact that out of the several high capacities venues in Hollywood, Circus is offering the cheapest tickets plus drink tickets.
I'm not focusing on people who constantly visit the Hollywood venues, I'm looking for people who simply want to have a good time without spending very much.
One tactic out of many that I've done is spent hours this week contacting club / group leaders at Loyola, CSU LA, LCC, FIDM, USC, PSU, Fullerton, Irvine, Cal Arts, CSU Long Beach and inviting those people out - Has anyone done this? No. How would I know, simple I asked if anyone else contacted them.
Do the math LA County itself is roughly 10 million people with about 70% of that population that are 21+. This doesn't even include the surrounding counties. If anyone really thinks you'll find all those people on a couple of forums and social networks then you're pretty much a follower.
So if anyone chooses to decide and create multiple accounts challenging my efforts while at the same time contacting me in multiple ways for Tiesto tickets and wristbands? I find it ironic several people from TA msged / txted me to identify this person, when I didn't even care enough to wonder or ask - simply put you can go yourself.
I haven't heard any complaints from the promoters themselves |

The Drive down was cool! The rental suv we got was pretty cool, had an aux input so I mixed the whole way down with Rafal & Tommy. :D
So much to do here dunno where to start, a few friends I haven't seen in a long time are comin thru, and will be comin tomm, gonna be good to hang out and promised to take me around tonight to check stuff out.
Looks like we all made it too.
