Of course! My brother made a dvd of my family's England trip last year, and knowing how much my parents were going to freak was almost enough for me to rip it out of the wrapping and throw it at them. :p
Me loves the holidays because everyone is so happy, personally. I've never felt as good a vibe for so long except from those days.
Also, it's not even Thanksgiving yet, people. |

You call it 'giftmas' when the overall happiness and joy of Christmas has nothing to do with gifts. As a kid it was gifts gifts gifts but as you get older you appreciate everything else that much more. I don't know if something happened to you when you were younger to not like this time of year but I feel bad. Such warmness comes from people and it's good because it's so damn cold out. |

not when i was younger, but as I got old.
i have no problem with the idea of Christmas. the spirit of care, fellowship and celebration of human life. (and something about that Jesus dude too)
i do have a problem with commercialism which detracts from the original spirit of christmas which made me bitter and a bit jaded about everything
once halloween ends, i see christmas decorations go up and be bombarded with advertisements telling me to buy and with expectancy that if you don't buy gifts, you somehow betraying christmas |
