| I've worked a few times near new philli, I seem to get sympathy from the flight crews when they find out you travel all the way from oz to get stuck in rural ohio. at least they do't make me stay in the hotels in uhrichsville anymore. |

it's a picture of run down rural america. still had some great times there, working 110 hours a week to deliver a project on time, actually have very fond memories of that place.
one guy at a drive through beer barn, hears my aussie accent, took a look at the plates on the rental car, says "so your from pennsylvania?" |

WE STILL HAVE ONE MORE MONTH TO GO!!! :whip:
up until now, 2008 has been CRAZY:
went to mardi gras again
got mono
lost a dog
got promoted
gained a dog
got orders to Oklahoma
went to NYC for the first time in my life
walked around bourbon st during halloween in a bathrobe (go figure, i was wearing LESS clothing than mardi gras, and DIDN'T get mono)
spent my first birthday ever by myself (without any friends/family around)
saw three good friends get orders and move out of shreveport
saw TWO musicals
got to see a lot of old friends from college again
moved to biloxi
rented out my house
am getting ready to move again
all in all, a pretty damn good year. its been crazy. definitely a lot has gone on in my life this year. |
