2008: So, how was your year?

Was 2008 a good year for you? Did 2008 suck? Or was it just an uneventful time of your life?
My year has been great thus far. After dealing with so much drama at uni last year, I became a lecturer, enrolled in grad school with the 3rd highest grade (reckon I could've done better, but I was exhausted), got engaged, moved out from my parents house, and found out long distance relationships rock (at least in the first couple of months, that is).

So far 2008 has been wonderful for a young lad such as myself.
Started college, blacked out a few times, got to be an extra a few times for porn, had my first threesome, realized that I want to become an artist... I've also recently begun writing a novel.
As for my year in EDM, it's been alright. Saw ATB, BT, Moby, Richie Hawtin, Kaskade, Markus Schulz, Swedish Egil, John O'Callaghan (Best set of the year for me), Antoine Claraman (2nd place for best set, he brought DA FUNK YO), and Doc Martin all for the first time this year.
Saw Infected Mushroom again, same act. Paul van Dyk twice this year, and he did pretty well in my eyes. Sharam sucked. Benny Benassi and Above & Beyond had excellent sets, but didn't live up to the hype.
I'm hoping that Tiesto (love him or hate him, I've yet to see him spin), Chemical Bros. & David Guetta will come to Los Angeles for 2009. |

| was a very difficult year for me, a lot of learning to deal with tough life situations. most of it was a realization as to where i am in life and where i need to get to. i can't wait for 2009, I want this year to be over with already |

| hmmm... Birth of my first child, got a big raise, caught the attention of my corporate overlords... probably did some other too. Good year... in truth the birth of my first child (that I know about anyway) part is enough to make this the best year ever. |

Got a job which pays twice as much as my previous job, other than that it has been a big massive pile of wank. But yeah, ask again in December, but I will probably say that it was wank again, but maybe less wank depending on how much fun I have.
