it took a long time to accumulate all of it. my heart is broken.
its just so ed, when i walked upstairs i remembered everything that happened.
flames in my face, sheet of smoke, all the yelling and confuzion, how hot it was, my buddy and i switching off with the garden hose pointing toward the roof above the setup.
there is nothing left.
bonus tho, i found one of my leafs jerseys. the home jersey. its a little wet and a little dirty with now burn holes, but i know the away jersey cant be that far off.
made me smile. |

i just went back...the insuance guy was there taking pictures.
something felt terribly wrong about everything. i went with a friend of mine and she felt it too. a truck drove up and parked in front of our suv (my friend and i) and then the jeep came down. we were boxed in. there was no way i was getting out of the truck without a clear path out of the driveway. my buddy asked us to move up 6inches so that the jeep could move up. why does that matter? the house is torn to nothing. if that was to happen we wouldve been boxed right in with no way out. i got the guy in the truck to move, in fact, he left. we pulled out to the road and left my buddy and the owner of the jeep at the site. i was calling the owner of the property and the owner of the jeep, no answers. im not going anywhere if i feel my security is being jeopardized. so we left. as we were driving off we saw smoke comming from the site. i know that everything was out. i know this cause here in bc the fires are fierce. so its one of those when the fire dept leaves you know for damn sure that the fire and all possiblities are dealt with. they started a fire at the site.
im not going back. i think some things are better left far and alone. |

this chick tried to set herself on fire, and burned down her bf's place
that's just crazy and worthy of my scorn |

That's arson. She's responsible for whatever damages are caused as a result of a fire she intentionally set.
Well, maybe not arson, unless they can prove she had criminal intent, but she would be financially responsible based on criminal negligence. |

unless she is declared mentally insane, i don't give a what her issues are either.
clearly there are better ways of dealing with your problems. burning down houses just isn't it |

his gf.
she torched the place while we were at work. it was either gasoline (class 2) or diesel (class 5) that was used. really what she was trying to do was self-immolation (? not too sure on spelling there, think im right tho). it is where you kill yourself via fire. |
thats what was going on. mental instabilities. |

Wow. What a sad, crazy story. It's horrible that this happened to you, but just be glad that what you lost is replaceable.
That girl sounds REALLY unstable, to say the least. Do you know if she was diagnosed with any sort of mental illness before this all took place? |
