One of my coworkers lost like 10000 bucks worth of porn in a fire.

The insurance assessor must have had an interesting audit

sorry to hear about this!

I have never lost anything in a fire or had my home robbed *knock on wood* But I have had friends who have gone through it.

The one this that I noticed very quickly was how little material things meant to them after an experience like that.

Things come and things go unfortunately.... I am happy you were not exposed to that fire yourself.

my friend and i ran in and upstairs into the blaze just to try and save the gear...it was too late. he took on massive amounts of smoke to his lungs, so now he is hospitalized for the night.
our only concern was the gear. kinda interesting how much the muzik means to some ppl. and now i feel like an idiot doing that. i couldve been killed.
it was a straw bail house, so it went up like the 4th of july. but i am keeping my wits about me.

that sucks hugggeee. something by no means in the same comparison was me losing my external harddrive with all music from like grade 8. felt gutted

A friend of mine lost everything in a fire recently - but she had insurance.
Tenants insurance costs about $15/month - definitely worth it. Sorry to hear you had to learn the hard way. :(
