| i bought djm500 and 2*cdj100 during my time in the army from money i worked for the year before (when i was 18). then when army was over i got a summerjob and bought 2*1210s for that money before studying began that fall. that was the easypart as i knew a dude getting me good price on it all. now the harder part was to have money for vinyl while studying, i had to get a part time job. i sold the cdj100s too, they where crap. then some years later i got a pair of cdj800 as i didnt feel vinyl was echonomicaly worth it anymore and started playing mp3. then i sold both 1210s and the djm500 and got an ecler nuo mixer which had MUCH better sound, but my interest for burning CDs with mp3 on it fell down so i sold it all, and im now not been djeing for a year or more but im considering buying some 1210s and a small mixer again for the fun of it. Vinyl was more passion definitly, and i saved some of the best records i bought. |
