Buh?!?!?!

$75...NYE ... fine ...

But where's the "and friends" bit?

B/c I may look into other options if this is it. No offense to Lawler or his fans, but I dunno if that's quite what I want for NYE.

Mind you, the warehouse in Lib Vil might be the thing I'm looking for.

I hate having to make decisions sometimes.

Well I know I won't be spending that kind of cash for Lawler ...too bad there aren't any "friends" but its good that there are some options in Toronto this year.

The Venue...

This is from an email a friend sent while we were talking about this.

I just asked the owner of 171 East Liberty, and it's going to be in the space where they had the Christmas party. Right beside (and attached to) the sales centre for the Liberty Lofts...I don't think they know quite what they're in for. But kudos to them for allowing it.

The space is not very warehouse... (in fact we have a POP in the middle of it!) it's gorgeously, actually perfect for a party... this will be hot.

Too bad Steve Lawler is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring.

It is very close to the new police garage for traffic services.

When do tickets go on sale?

Right after my set in London I am zooming to this!

What will it go til?

75 dollars + at least 50 dollars for a cab there and back....

100 bucks is way too much for partying in an over crowded venue with JUST Lawler (and M&S)....

I could justify it if there were other djs on the bill, just a bit cheeper, or closer to me in location... but all these factors just suck.

I spent $25 to see him and MANY others in July. I refuse to spend so much just because its NYE... mega textbook purchasing to do just around the corner.

you get to see tons of djs for dirt cheap throughout the year (and people complain about that) and you complain about one night when EVERYONE wants to be out to party/celebrate? have you learned about supply and demand?

this is more proof that toronto is never satisfied.

If I choose to go... I'd pay it. It is New Years.

We complain of lack of venue changes for Lawler when he comes to the city.

We finally get one people. So annoying.

Thanks to this crew for putting something different out there...
