that was pretty wikkid: few points

ing OVER full tiltin, was played 3 times that i heard, and it's already been played to death over the last year. if you can't find any other floor-destroyers you don't deserve to be playing a gig as a dj.

joey: fine mixing skills mate, but lay off the FX, Fx are for buildups NOT break-downs...

what was with the decks? looked like one of the cdjs was ed, OR norman was, since every second track sounded like a really quiet trainwreck... :conf:

great night though, the room was pumping during norman's first hour in particular

would've liked to hear phantom manner :(

Hey mate thanks for the comments yea i totally agree, i was runnig around all night to try and fix the prmblem was abit upset as they assured me everything was in working order, turns out the mixer and one of the cdjs had prmblems with it, wasnt normans fault but was my own. The bass was cutting out here and there half way during normans set seems like it got overheated also

My set was terrible i could nhardly beatmatch properly, and with the fx ile take that for next time :) so guys sorry if you listened to that crap!

Thanks so much guys for supporting Norman and supporting Sunset. It was an amazing night all round, met heeps of great people enjouyed everyones sets, must mention chrissie set made the main room dead and all the crowd rock to her :)

everyone played great loved normans set was really different, funky techy electro sound, marlos set was wicked, souldnt say much more really, it was unberleavable :)

pics will be up soon right now i need a coffee!

really good night
really good tunes (consistently good front + back all night)
good turn out and crowd

highlights for me were norman and marlo (sounds like he's becoming or gonna be a local for a while atleast? hopefully he gets some more gigs!)

seems like this could be the start of something big :)

pics later!

yeah marlo was tops, very impressed :) glad to hear he's back in town for a while - I'd like to see him more often!

great night all round, had a blast despite how utterly exhausted I was all night :( gunna squeeze in a decent nanna nap before I go out nowadays hehe.. I'm such a freakin grandpa haha :p

let's keep this one going! can't wait go see the next one :)

Joey, awesome job on the night! Saw you walking from room to room, taking pics etc. Fantastic turnout as well!

Heard a lot of Mark Norman's set and yeh, there were massive bass issues, but ah well, most people seemed to stay and dance anyway. Ful Tiltin went off each time, you're right Philby (nice to see ya again!).
Nice to see u again as well Mark!

Had a great time spinning the sunrise set as well, awesome crowd of rockers too:)

stress less about your set joey lol :D it was fine to me man i didnt pick up on any miss matched mixes...

but now that ya mention it about the bass kicking in and out, i sorta figured when norman would bring the bass in for 2 beats and then cut it out.... i was thinking... pphhoooaaarrr thats nice bass but realised... there wasnt all that much to begin with... was strange but deffinatley not enough to put me off thats for sure!!

Dan, i wish there were more people infront of you dude, same for Stevie... everyone was just too buggered and left i guess.... dont take it as a downer that not alot of people were there or dancing... like i was a bit too buggered to keep dancing but just still enjoying the tunes ya know what i mean? you played some good tunes man, cant wait to see ya play again, hopefully next time with alot more people around me lol

great job on all fronts!!!

Joey, what did i tell you dude... good reports all round so far my friend!

Has Miss Libs always had those lights behind the back bar? they look awesome.

Nice work Chrissie, good to see you up behind the decks, you looked so cute too hahah! :P

Jed I am sure your set was the best... but I don't remember it haha! :P WASTED!@
