I had a funny argument with a student this week because of that. He thought he was too good and that everyone else in the world was a slacker, and told me he decided to change everything about his presentation on the previous day "the previous content wasn't up to his standards".
After making a fool of himself in front of all other students, he handed his "paper" to me: poorly handwritten, and citing the almighty Wikipedia :toothless
God, I'm too nice for giving the kid a 2nd chance, heh. |

A friend of mine has a mild form of Tourrette's where he twitches uncontrollably (usually at inoportune moments)..That s me to tears.
My whole family is full of psychological issues - manic-depression, bipolarism, extreme narcisistic disorder (no, not me =P), obsessive-compulsive... Family gatherings are a blast. |

This girl I ran with in high school is a serious depressive attention-whore. I stopped hanging around with her years ago because I was so tired of her (I won't elaborate, but tust me - it was enough). Anyways, I got a message from her on FB the other day saying only "I'm so sad". I replied with a sole question mark. She comes back saying that she's getting a divorce, to which I replied "Sorry to hear that".
Turns out she's back in old form, and sent that same message out to everyone she used to hang around with in school...like anyone cares, as we haven't seen her in 6 years or so. Apparently she's now bad-mouthing me to the others for being 'insensitive'.
Just a nuicance.
I thought that was kind of funny. |

All crazy people are annoying, its why they get locked up because they bug the absolute piss out of anyone who hasn't been committed or under heavy medication. Because lets face it, unless they're trying to kill other people, most people just wouldn't give a damn for their well being.
There's the token socially/politically correct 'tsk, tsk, that's terrible and someone should help' that gets said just to make the majority of people not look like they're completely inhumane arseholes. But in reality, no one is crossing the street to tell the crazy hobo to stop drawing pictures with his own poo on shop front windows because its unseemly.
No! They call the cops and he gets locked up! :haha:
Though, as I have discovered once you progress to being a contributing member of society and a decent income, you stop being labelled 'crazy' and move onto the slightly more respectable title of being 'eccentric' |
