It's sad because it is true.
Although today I just found out the father of a friend of my brother's got locked up earlier this week. He became increasingly paranoid, destroyed all doors of his house and ran away for a whole weel, came back, told his family he started sniffing cocaine again (no one even knew he had done it before) and warned everyone that he owned an epic amount of money to a drug dealer.
When his family decided to take action, they actually needed to call the fire brigade (!), but he escaped. He hid for a couple of days and I think they got him when he came back.
And I used to think my brother's friend was nuts :p |

I very much doubt that most people like that are in fact afflicted by the ailment they claim to have. Of course, it doesn't stop them from exhibiting many of the signs and being prescribed for it though. |
