Darren Aronofsky's film? After Requiem For A Dream and Vanilla Sky, those are hardly obscure

Vanilla Sky? :conf:
bananas
Talking bout Aronofsky...THIS
Blake
Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence (2004)

This one's obscure to me since I'm not into anime. A few friends suggested I see it with them when it was in theaters here as it was only playing in 2 or 3 theaters in the US so I did. It was the first 'Ghost In The Shell' anything I'd ever seen. Incredible visuals and incredibly substantive. Definitely worth checking out..

First one is better, IMHO. More raw.

Oh yeah, you're from Germany, eh? Vanilla Sky is an American Remake of Abres Los Ojos

Speaking of Germany, Knocking On Heaven's Door is a premium movie!

I think he was asking what Aronofsky had to do with Vanilla Sky. And Knocking On Heaven's Door was indeed great :]

I liked Cashback :(

Capitalizt
The Princess and the Warrior

same director and actress from Run Lola Run (see that first if you haven't OMG).

The pace is slower than RLR but it has the same strange "feel" to it. Yes, it's based on a guy/girl, but there is much more to it than that...very interesting plot twists and amazing acting.

Some i've pick up in recent time (nothing new though):
The Fall
House of Sand and Fog
Punishment Park
Onibus 147
Io Non Ho Paura
