What I am saying is... if the Robers VP of Finance was on TV acting like a ing idiot while he was drunk at a bar, he would likely be fired from his job because he is indirectly damaging Roger's reputation....

I get your point teufel. I really do.
But I disagree with the comparison to publically traded companies.
Sports is fuelled by drama, on and off the field/ice/pitch whatever.
He is a dickbreathing jerkoff, but he adds layers to a game that could really use them. I hate many loudmouth athletes, but sports really would not be as fun if everyone was as respectful and considerate as barry sanders (sorry can't think of hockey nice guys).
Again his comments were not even close to criminal. Even in the corporate world I don't think they would qualify for slander.
The commish should let him play and allow the players to 'shut him up' within the rules of the game OR that flames player should break his jaw during the offseason ala joey porter and that cincinatti bengals lineman in Las Vegas.

Sean Avery is awesome, I don't know what the hell is stuck up your ass Teufel, but you need to relax and have a chuckle. It's ing sports, not something that has any importance to our lives. Yes, he's a jackass. Yes, he runs his mouth. So what? Are his actions having a detrimental effect on YOUR life?

Lol chill out man... I am totally up for guys who say stupid ... Avery just happens to choose the wrong stupid to say: calls a black guy a monkey, makes fun of a guy with cancer.... sloppy seconds isnt that bad but sounds like a 15 year old.

EDIT: my main point is... I understand where the NHL is coming from on this one. I dont 100% support an indefinite suspension, but this guy needs to STFU about certain things.
