im going out on a limb here (just to fly in the face of general consensus) and guess its your motherboard. when you have many different symptoms your mobo is a good place to start.
do you have any spare parts lying around with which to experiment? |

| Clearly, your boards and HDD are just dirty. Get a bucket of warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive washcloth and clean those suckers off. I like to polish up afterwards with a bit of bacon grease - you know, just to lube things up so my computer runs faster. |
