The music industry isn't dying. The CD/vinyl industry is dying.

I disagree. Its hurting dj's because now any jackass can become a star overnight if he has a macbook.

Digital sales are growing, physical sales are decreasing. Considering the higher margins on physical releases, no they are losing money. But as digital sales continue to grow, they'll be able to rake in as much cash as they did before.

Nobody's denying it. It's just that the illegal file sharing excuse has been used time and time again to cover up for poor management skills.

It's hardly a surprise record labels/distributors are going down in this day and age. But don't take us for fools.

I doubt that. Despite the fact that people are essentially paying for nothing tangible, digital gross isn't nearly as profitable as physical gross (especially so with things like iTax involved).
