burns: you don't have a ing clue. You sound like a ing prat in all your posts and it is so obvious you don't know what you are talking about.
"Why didnt he do the mixing again in the studio rather than live..doing it live was pointless, you cant even hear the crowd"
He did it in the studio, but in one go on his turntables.
"Yes i have you cheeky little bastard infact i got about 10 Global Underground CDs....Every single one i got is don on turntables...No computer what so ever"
There is only a few done on turnbables. The majority is mixed by computers. Infact, the majority of mix CDs released are mixed with protools.
And what is the problem with people not liking it?
Just because Tiesto is a big name it must be good? If the mixing stinks it can ruin the experience. No matter how good the tunes are.
A higher level is needed on a mix CD than what would be expected from a live set.
Now stop acting like you know everything. You don't. |

Theonly decent thing you said there is the fact that Tiesto done his set all in one....I didnt know this but thanks for informing me.....The global Undergrounds are mixed on computers ??? You seriously think Oakenfold sits down on his computer and mixes.......I understand you got a lot on your mind - ie - your scottish and diddnt qualify for world cup....But hey please reply...Im up for a flame war with a arse whole at the moment... :) |

The DJ picks the tracks and programming of the set.
The sound engineer (I assume thats what he is called) does the mixing using a computer. |

You for real ?? If so then i dont think will be buying another Global Underground.....By the way why the would it say mixed by Paul Okeanfold/Sasha when it is done on a computer...I cant beleive that....
On some GU you can hear the crackling from the needle...And some GU say they are Live Acts...:whip: |

Fair Dues.....By the way, you judging me on the fact i wasnt aware that GU was mixed on computers.... ? Thats un-fair :( |

Yes. Honestly. A lot of GlobalUnderground CDs are mixed on computers. On the sleve notes it says something like the CDs reflect the DJs recent sets in the location. But the majority are not mixed by the DJ. Some are though, for example Dany Tenaglia - London.
And the big DJ names will encourage punters to buy. Most GUs are quality still though. That is just the way it is with most mix CDs. I bet more than half your collection was mixed on a computer.
And the reason I'm judging you is because you try to win arguments with things like this.
Totally uncalled for.

It's not the way to win an argument. |
