I dont want to win arguements, thats not my point....But i am really amazes to find that GU are mixed on computers...Maybee i was acting like i knew a lot but i didnt want to be seen like that...
..Seriously though, Tiesto shouldent have mixed on a computer. I like hearing DJ`s mixing techniques knowing that they have done them on turntables....Like - Dj Tiesto Revolution Cd1 and Cd2...Thats the way Cds should be done, Not on computers... :) |

| A lot of people agree with you (me included) but that is just the way it is. The computers make the mixing perfect so they do that instead of mixing with turntables which could leave them making a few mistakes. |

This thread gets better the more and more replies added. I have to laugh at some of the posts.
You cant honestly expect anyone to take your side of the argument seriously if you degrade
the discussion to abuse of contributors. After all that is what discussion is about, reflecting
two or more viewpoints about a subject and trying to better oneself by seeing anothers point of
view, not "this is what i think, and what you should think also or else".
One of the funniest things ive seen for a while was the "This promo is probably a fake", yeah
like someone had nothing better to do than go around mixing a cd with the exact tracklist as isos3.
Funny Stuff. Tiesto's only human, and his work can be not to scratch sometimes (hes highly variable imo).
If you want someone to respect your viewpoint, then at least think about what your going to post before
doing so, to anyone that doesnt know you burns, you give the impression of an angry 14year old with nothing
better to do than call people names because they dont think what you do.
You see this post? not one swear word or insult towards other people in it, and thought about before posting,
perhaps you should consider this, the next time you want to share your opinion on something.
Cheers,
HS
PS- Global Underground has vinyl crackle because the tracks have to be sourced from the 12"
before it goes into the computer. Same with GC cds etc. |

lol :) you know, the reason I suggested it might be fake is because, well it is a studio recorded album. Meaning that tiesto had the opportunity to do some transitions again, if he wasn't statisfied with them :) so I don't see how a 'world class' (i hate that term) DJ can release an album with so many 'errors'. I understand that he's human and thus he makes mistakes,BUT it's an album, NOT a liveset. If you have the ability to undo your mistakes, why not use it ? can you at least try to answer that last question for me? :) please :) |

ok.. my turn
:)
lets pretend for a second that this was a faked this release
:) how did they get the original tiesto vocal mix of southern sun which only tiesto has...
and how did they get the first track on the album also....
hell :) if anything i think this is a perfect representation of tiestos mixing in clubs.... cos its never perfect.... ;) and i have seen him a few times live now..
hes a great dj... but he always spends a few seconds to beatmatch. which leads to a not so perfect mix :) |

| I'm a big tiesto fan but I think with him it's a case of "If he does a good mix it's great but if he does a bad mix it's fecking terrible" |
