you miss the point. Israel absolutely has the right to defend itself against hamas militants. Israel does not, however, have the right to kill a ton of civilians in the process. I'm not a person that necessarily cares how many palestinians are killed as compared to the number of israels killed (as long as those palestinians killed are militants). What ever happened to targeted assassinations?
The shame of this all is Israel could win over the minds of the palestinian people by providing for their basic human needs. At the moment, the people of Gaza rely on Hamas to support their needs. How can Israel win the war of popular support when they treat every palestinian like a criminal?

Targeted assassination is not a method that is appropriate to be used during close contact exchanges. During wars there are methods and strategies that must be followed (similar to trading in the market, i feel you can relate better to this example) so you have to understand them before suggesting targeted assassination, which is more commonly used during missions as opposed to attacks.
In regards to your second paragraph, Israel has been supplying Gaza and its people with electricity (24/7, as opposed to Syria, where they cut off electricity 2 hrs every day in selected cities because of poor economies) and potable water for 8 years.
Israel's target is not winning popular support, at this moment. Israel must accomplish its objective of destroying Hamas' philadelphi tunnels and its morale so that further attacks can be avoided and their re-establishment can be stopped.
As a note and FYI - I'm a witness that when Israel attacks they pass by with helicopters and dump what you could call 'flyers' stating that that particular zone will be under air attack soon and it gives the civilians enough time to escape and move to other locations but Hamas officials don't let them move (by surrounding the block or streets with gunmen threatening to kill, so it's not like Israel goes under heavy attack without warnings during war, who the hell warns during war? Certainly the U.S. didn't in Afghanistan and Iraq. I'm not trying to put down the U.S. I'm saying this because during war people die. This is a fact. |

BTW, every time I see a news note about a bombing in Gaza killing people, doesnt bother me... anytime I see a note that an Israeli soldier was killed, it hurts.
What people dont understand, they cannot comment on. This fighting will not stop... the Arabs dont want peace, they want the land of Israel destroyed and everyone in it killed. Treaties and cease fires and "peace" doesnt solve any issues, its only a method of procrastination. |

| BTW, this isnt a 'conflict', this is a solution, and Israel finally is fed up with this bull. And America will back up anything Israel does because Israel is its safeguard and monitoring post of the middle east. |

Go and read the history. Jews killed all prophets and innocent people since they existed. Ä° am not Christian and Ä° dont get how Christians get along with Jews. Jews killed Jesus and Christians behave as nothing happened. You work with them you chat wÅŸith them..
PS; Ä°t could be a small country but Look America, there are thousands of Jews.
Muslims dont have any problems with Christians but Jews and Muslims cant get along. |

but there are a good percentage of them out there who want exactly what you stated
they even pass this hatefull mentality down to their kids
