If it's available, it's what I order.

Otherwise it's usually Skyy.
I tried Skyy for the first time on NYE and it just took on the flavor of what-ever I mixed in it. I drank the entire bottle and hadn't even noticed the level of drunkeness happening. And the bottle is pretty :gsmile:

When I was 15 and was in independent study, 4 of us would drink 2 bottles of this stuff a night. Now, we can't touch the stuff. Instant puke-a-thon.

Used to drink a ton of this , but now I'm with Gehz on this one. It's ty, cheap, and full of impurities.

Fixed. :p

Quite honestly, it is either Belvedere or Grey Goose that people like. Few like both. :)

Dammit! You're both wrong. lol... this is the fixed version:

Belvedere > Stoli > Grey Goose

Gehzumteufel is right again about something... those who prefer the Goose don't seem to drink Belvedere and vice versa

lol

ps: my sister just got back from Russia and almost got ed on alcohol. The TSA site says 5 liters but apparently they enforce some 1 bottle per person thing. Such bull. They lucked out and got a sympathetic person that let them slide with a few more.
FallingMoon
Ketal One & Belvedere

if I am being cheap and don't feel like spending too much I love Boru Irish vodka & Svedka Swedish vodka, not that expensive but they're not cheap tasting @ all.

Damn dude... TSA is all ed up. When I was there, 2 years ago, it said 2 liters. I was too scared to take a chance and bring more, after some bitch from Moscow airport security angrily made me give her a lighter I bought with the hammer and sickle and Lenin's face on it. It didn't even have the little gas insert in it, and that cow made me hand it in.

Havent tried the 18 year yet but the 12 year is fantastic. I just refuse to believe any bottle can justify a 150$ plus price tag. The Lagavulin is half that and has far better ratings from the critics.

If you get a chance a bar, pony up the cash for 1 drink to give it a try... you'll be impressed. I'm a newbie with the single malt scotch thing, and I've never tried Lagavulin so I'll give it a run and see how it is. So far what I've found easy to drink is the Glenlivit 12 year, Glenfiddich 21 year, McCallan 12 and 18. My palate is picky so if it's even a little harsh, I don't want to drink it. Any other recommendations?
