iPhone vs G1?
What should I get?
My girlfriend's phone broke and mine keeps crashing. We decided to get new ones. Both plans are very similar if we get the family plan for two phones. Our contracts are up with T-Mobile, so we can go with either one.
iPhone:

G1:
Unlimited Mins
Proprietary Headphone Adapter
NO GPS!!!
$199 Month
1 GB (Expandable to 8GB - more $$)

stay away from the iPhone!!! after switching from the nokia N95, OMG, i totally hate it. it has very primitive phone functions.
i'm waiting for Nokia to release they're touchscreen maybe by 2nd half of the year. |

both are nice but i dislike both companies and their plans.
cant beat sprint sero w/ unlimited everything for $35/month! now if they can only get an android phone... |

what the hell?
I pay $40 TOTAL for my iphone plan per month. I get unlimitied mobile to mobile, unlimited internet, and 200 texts (more than enough)
How can people be willing to spend $200 a month? I probably wouldnt use a phone if it cost that much.
Is this how much most people pay...? |

| Only prop with G1 is that it is kinda bulky. And texting w/ the iphone is rather annoying...missing all the letters. |

That's not right at all.
edit // ah wait unltd mins will get you I guess. Why do you need unlimited? Do you honestly use more than 1500 minuets in a month? More than 1000 for that matter?
And it doesn't necessarily have GPS but it does come with Google Maps (obviously) that can update in real time :) |
