unless i'm overlooking something, the only outdoor spots that can hold 15k people in manhattan are the great lawn and the north meadow and there's no chance either of them will be made available for this type of event. bryant park is another, slightly smaller, option.
since there's no way tiesto's pulling 15 thousand people (or even 10k), a return to summerstage might be in order; if they insist on going big, randall's island is the likely guess (though i'd still like to see a party on governor's island). |

I dunno, I wouldnt underestimate the man, especially with proper promoting OUTSIDE of the US. I am sure if they market this event as the "real deal TIC" that many many canadians and foreigners would drop some dough for this. |

| I'm currently sleeping with the main promoter's underage sister and she told me that it's definately definate definate and that it's going to be on the field in Yankee Stadium. The entire infield will be converted into the stage area and the outfield covered in shaggy carpet. See the reason they had to knock down the original Yankee Stadium has nothing to do with the baseball team, it's that it wasn't up to Tiesto's standards for a venue so this is all in anticipation of his 15,000 person gig in New York City. True story. |
