| Tiesto was pissed about his summerstage gig back in 2004. He said he was mad because not enough people showed up. You know how PVD always packs it out with like 5,000 people well only about 2,000-2,500 people there. But, that's because Made Event was stupid enough to throw that on a Wednesday when everbody was either at work or at school. If you notice, Tiesto never dealt with Made again after that day. But, I already checked what day this event is gonna fall on, it's a Saturday, so expect a big turnout. Eventhough the promoter is estimating 15k, I'm thinking more along the lines of 8-10k. Even with that I'll still be happy, we've never had a party that big out here before, so it'll be a big step. |

There's just a bigger market on the west coast for EDM. Everyone out here is all about hip-hop. Plus, California is a really big state. We've gotta start trying to throw dance festivals out here more often. Then maybe the scene will get bigger. I don't know if you're familiar with Flushing Meadow-Corona Park. It's where Shea Stadium is and the U.S. Open as well. Perhaps you know it for that humongous metal globe that you can see from the highway. Well I always had this sick idea to throw the Godskitchen Global Gathering right there in that park, right under that globe. That would the sickest party. Somebody needs to pitch that idea to someone

may be there wasn't a party that big in your life time? |

| Well, I'm saying I've been around for awhile, actually today is my birthday I turned 27. But I've been on quite a few "journeys" in my lifetime and I feel quite lucky to have had the opportunity to attend these events, such as 2 Tiesto In Concerts in Holland and 1 in Belgium in '04 which was 25,000 people each, also Armin Only earlier this year in Holland which was about 18,000 people, also Ultra Music Festival 3 times which is 50k. So I've been to these humongous events and had the sickest times, but the point is that each time I had to travel to experience those kind of events, because we don't have parties here in New York that are thrown on that kind of scale. At least not for electronic music. No, I've never seen it happen here. But, I'm really happy to here that its going to happen. |

agreed. the trance scene on the east coast is picking up though. and if tiesto gets a good reception, a lot of the other big acts will follow. |

hahahah. I honestly find it funny that anyone is questioning anything but the venue at this point. 15,0000 is easy. This is a man that can bring in all that was mentioned before but is known by non-trance lovers alike- he is on my comcast on Demand for GODS SAKES. You have a huge market with him (and any end-of-summer party), in September its an end of summer thing people ALL OVER New England FEIND to find a good BANG to the end of their summer.
this is cake.
But im still curious about the venue |

Honestly, I haven't seen many of those types at his parties since maybe Crobar. Who gives a about those jerks anyway. We're the ones that matter anyway, because we're the one's that show love. Their negativity cannot outweigh our positivity. When Tiesto is here he makes the vibe perfect for me, and those fools cannot ruin that, nobody can. |
