Hmm... I first heard this thought experiment back in October, I guess, and my immediate reply was "of course they don't have to do the same thing. Regardless of the tendency to do the same thing, one of them can 'rebel' and simply do otherwise for the sake of it". When I heard most people disagreed with me (which happens frequently :p), I tried to understand the logic behind it and several things that had happened to me previously.

| But I though they are the same in every way? If they made different decisions throughout the course of their life how would they have then arrived at having the same existence? And if all along they have been making the exact same decisions, why would that change all of a suddenly? |

no for dtrong minded people you can create new loops and habits that serve you best, but for the average joe.....yes they are unavoidable.
Don't you always see the same things in your life. Like you are always dating the same girls, always beiong messy or careless in certain aspects of your life?
these are all habits. most prople don't realize that loops control their life and some people realize it and can never break them. While others have no problem identifying them and creating new ones.
I say if bobby was a weak minded person he'll pick up that phone regardless of free will |
