My thoughts exactly. After partying for so long it's hard to come out of a party blown away. Usually it's a "been there, done that" attitude.

So do ellipses. It's hard not to imagine someone speaking in a low monotone and trailing off every few seconds.
P.S. To the other replies, it's not that I don't ever have good times at parties, I have great times, probably better on average than I did back in the day, but I think that is partly because I care less for the fine details. When you don't care, you also don't notice the negatives, so you likely have a better time, but you also don't remember much or have that much to say about it afterward.
