For a club, I want music I can dance to. That track is nothing but an oompaloompa bass-kick combo with some random 808ish electro sounds thrown in. There's no way I'd let myself get subjected to a whole night of this without some serious drugs - I'd be back out that door before the half-hour mark.

Seems that there's never any shortage of douchebags to insist that any palatable form of art is tawdry "mainstream" potboiler and that the only true form of expression is some cryptic garbage that you'd have to be super high to enjoy. Yeah, you're really living on the edge buddy. Good luck with that.

Yeah, you're totally right, I don't really understand minimal, I just go for the sugar-coated pop schmaltz glitch like they play on CHUM FM. Obviously real minimal doesn't use, like, tones and stuff, but my palate just isn't sophisticated enough to appreciate it.

LOL.. not enough plur! Rofl.. oh I remember the days when people used to talk about PLUR being in 'full effect', and then when PLUR died.. "PLUR is dead, man!" Bahaha. Oh the days of hanging out with candy kids.

Going out in Toronto, yes, but when I was a lot younger in high school (Grade 9) my friends and I were big into all kinds of EDM (I started listening to trance when I was about 12 or so I guess, so this would be about 2 years later) and I had a number of friends who were candy kids. They frequented raves and used to talk about this kind of stuff a lot.. that, and I got to see a lot of light shows. Lol
