I hope a remaster comes out too. I don't just want a remix, .

The Henry Saiz remix of Future Perfect is on Beatport now for any one who is interested ;) http://bit.ly/3IoN7N

Listened to the album finally and it sucks! Seriously uninspired bull IMO. Not a single track on it I would buy. I've never been a huge fan of WOW even though they've done loads of brilliant tracks, but this album is just bad.

Say no more. I would beg to differ that it is very much inspired by the 80s and analog synth mania.

Definitely a 70s and 80s vibe in it. A vibe which I don't care for at all. I absolutely loved Don't Look Now though and a few of their past remixes.

^Unfortunately, the over-reliance on the 80s didn't give it much longevity, even though the production is as sharp as a tack. I think there are more than a few remixes worthy of mention but agree to disagree again. ;)

The remix album is supposedly coming later this month (19th) and here's a giveaway of Scuba's dubsteppy remix of the magical "One Bright Night:"

Although I have not listened much to their older works, I really enjoyed We Love Machine....

I love that 80's vibe :D

Here's a tracklist with samples available: http://www.wayoutwest.mu/listen.html

Not that exciting unfortunately (instrumental and D. Ramirez versions of Bodymotion notwithstanding).

Considering the fact that I have barely listened to this album after buying it in october I think it is safe to say that I consider it a disappointment. And it cant be my "evolved" music taste either because I still enjoy their older albums.

Maybe it is the fact that they were trying very hard to come up with an album that would appeal to lots of different people and they somehow forgot what it was that they did best during the effort.

Anyway judging from the samples vinnie posted, the remix album seems pretty pointless to me. I am however happy that they released/will release the instrumental of bodymotion.

Maybe it is the fact that we expect way too much from our old heroes seeing the fact that Hybrid's new album was not too well received here either.

I'm actually looking forward to the remix album. There are some good tracks on there.

In the future, they will also be releasing '2010 mixes' of other classic tunes, such as Mindcircus, Ajare and a couple of others, which they showcased at Miami. That was one of my highlights of the week, actually.

Has anyone heard a comment from themselves that would explain why exactly are they doing that? Apart from the obvious need to re-monetize their classic tunes by fitting them into the contemporary shell.

Back in the day they became famous by ignoring the genre limits and being creative. All this 2010 remix business is the exact opposite of that ideology.

And Im not saying that some of those new remixes wont sound good. Im just saying that these new remixes will most probably feel as disposable as most of todays EDM and therefore be forgotten after a few months.

Yea, I'm not sure where Acton heard this? Aside from "The Gift" (which was a project jumpstarted by the relaunched Deconstruction), I haven't heard about any others getting released. Sure, they've done new versions but it's for the live show...and they're quite good:

(the last one is a little pointless beyond its intended use, simple beefed up mainly...I see no reason to officially release it)
