Good Novels

I used to read a lot when I was in school but I kinda dropped the habit when I started college. Now, I want to pick it up again and I'm looking for some good novels. Perhaps you guys could recommend me some?

As for genre, I'd prefer Sci-Fi, Mystery, Thrillers, and even Horror (a la Stephen King) but pretty much recommend any good novel new or old ;)

Yeah, I enjoyed that one too. One of the few books I read in the past years. I read "The Da Vinci Code" and after that I read the rest of Dan Brown's books.

I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but one of the only science fiction books I've ever read (outside Michael Crichton) was Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" and it was excellent.

Ever read anything by Tom Robbins? If not, I highly recommend you start with Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates. Absolutely wicked, his writing style is so cool.

(Deception Point)Entertaining? Definetly. Far-fetched? Hell yes.

Da Vinci Code was actually based on the old book "Holy Blood Holy Grail", but this time it was marketed correctly.

OT: Dune, the best sci-fi ever written.

I don't read fiction. It just doesn't interest me.
