Yeah I dunno. It's what you make it, really. Most of the parties I went to had awesome crowds...but deep house heads are just like that. The douchiest douchebags I saw were at BP and SS...but w/e, they made the day interesting by providing me with hours of countless opportunity to rip into them. Like all the ing retarded whores wearing ugly ass stinky vagina leggings at SSFD. Lol, ing morons.
barbina
its Miami.. what else would you expect? Its a cesspool of plastic douchebags

but it was fun :gsmile:

I'm not talking about Miami during WMC, I'm talking about Miami the city itself. It sucks. It has nothing to offer. It's just glitz and fake and big cars and music and people all over. I'm sure if I lived there I'd find some intertesting folks and spots, but over all I just don't like it. It has no feeling, no culture, it feels dead to me. It's like Las Vegas, its like everything is just smoke and mirrors and trying to get your money.

And then the whole noise police and venues pretending they can operate outside their licenses, I can't tell you how many times I sat there thinking, why the are we coming here and spending all this money for a city that cleary does its best to make the whole music conference a ing ordeal. I mean, could you imagine if at DEMF they had to keep the music low in Hart Plaza for fear of getting shut down? Are you seriously gonna charge 75$ at the door of Sunday School for people to go in and essentially listen to amazing artists at a volume riviling my MacBook's speakers? The Standard here in LA has rooftop parties every Sunday till 8-9-10pm and theres never any ing issues...

I had a great time there last week, because of the people I was with and the friends I made and the friendships I expanded on, but god damn I'm glad to be back home...

The people in the States are weird. Like, up here we're very multicultural...but there's still some sense of unity and togetherness. Down in the states you don't get that sense of commonality, of some unseen thing that unifies everyone. It's a very "every man for himself" sorta vibe. It's ed. Void is definitely the right word.
Zild
I love that everyman for himself .

I've lived in many countries the united states is my home and I'm not even american. I wouldn't raise a family here but it has provided my family and I many opportunities that I would have otherwise missed./ghey bro

Hey lets not turn this into a rain on the USA thread, I'm trying to aim the talking squarely on Miami.

Silky Johnson
Yeah sorry. I meant Miami. And every other city in every other state that I've been to. But yeah, Miami.
