That was 06. And no, I didn't get id'ed at most places. Which is good, because only 2 dudes from our crew had comp for the Tenaglia party, one of who's name was Courtney....but he didn't go. So I went and told the contact at the door that I was Courtney, and she was all like "Omg so nice to finally meet you!! Here's some drink tickets, go right in!" Funny thing is, she DID meet him 4 nights previous at Burridge Barrage.

depends what night.
Space has a pretty weak line-up compared to previous years.
I think maybe viva vs cadenza might be the most packed night.. Also Friday night for PvD & Morillo.
Other than that you *might* be fine.
Space is kinda a bitch during WMC like they'll reach capacity in the Patio - therefore you can go up there... etc... But that might only be for morillo. That reaches capacity for him on a normal weekend there! |

Yeah, I'm going to Space for PVD, then Saturday Cameo for Armin.
I would go to Space on Saturday but...eh, Sharam will be there. |

He sucks donkey balls. Honestly, he will play extended but it takes him 3-4 hours to start picking up. I wouldn't waste my time for Armin or Jerome Isma'ae.
Since he is number 1 you are gonna get all the stupid Armin fans that think he is god and he can do no-wrong!
The best time Armin ever played in Miami was Oct 2005. the end.

| I had a pretty good time at his TAO this year... I don't think he's a god or anything, but I do enjoy some of his work. Besides that, there isn't much else to do on Saturday. The only other option is Sharam's set, right? |

There are other parties that aren't going to be as big as those. Check them out if you can. |

I am doing Pacha Ibiza Pool Party and probably the free Beatport Pool Party on Saturday. (all day time events)
Nothing else because SSFD > anything at the moment.. and Armin in the States isn't 1/2 of Armin in Europe. His last hour yes - but I can't be bothered to wait for someone to pick up. |

Maybe I'll try to hit up those pool parties; I do love swimming and its too cold here...any time of the year.

Gonna sign up for that Saturday Beatport Pool party on Monday - Don't slack on those. I am sure Saturday will sell out QUICK!! Especially since it's Freeeeeee!
banora - I dunno.. sometimes I hear these Armin *live* sets from [insert festival here] and I just wish he could start off like that. In the states you are guaranteed to listen to hours of slow.. melodic.. vocals..... the fun stuff comes @ the end! |
