omg help me please --- ( Computer Related )

:( k so i formatted my computer today, so i attempted to install Windows Live MSN and it would not allow me to, it said the firewall settings will not allow it, but then i go to control panel and the firewall is not there ...
i don't get it...
Help me please :( |

Don't know what to say. I have to say is this
1. Right click My Computer
2. CLick Manage
3. Click "Services and Applications" >> "Services"
4. on the right pane, if "Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)" is not listed, sounds like the Windows Firewall service was not installed on your computer. |

but why is it not in control panel?

Next time you have tech question pretend you're a woman you get answers quicker.
go to your antivirus options and include MSn to the exceptions
then go to your windows firewall
start
control panel
security center
windows firewall
options
exceptions
mark MSN
ok
also could be your router try plugging directly into the modem. |

i don't have the anti Virus yet, and Security Center is not in my control panel x_x |
