Yes. If I had an American girlfriend, and a Brazilian room mate, I'd never ever speak in English with him just because I'm in front of her. Even if she joined the conversation, I'd probably end up speaking in English with her and in Portuguese with him.

french is not that different than english, especially the french your bf speaks. Quebecers use a lot of Anglicisms.
you could learn rather quick, getting rid of the accent is the hard part. |

It is rude in theory, but from personal experience I know it's rather difficult to not do it.
Learn some French, Jamie. Knowing only one language is for the birds. |

yea i definitely plan on learning french, i was gonna post that and forgot. i really love this guy and i think he is it for me and i know i'm it for him (he told me) so i should just learn french. quebecois sounds different than regular french. it's choppier and not as gay sounding.
but i mean i've already told him it bothers me and he was basically like tough lol |
