btw the only reason they speak in french around you is because they don't want you to know what they're saying. It's probably about you. Or some hot slut they saw at a bar/club.

that is very possible, recent studies show that french canadians are the biggest adulterers on this continent.

The least you could do is learn French or at least the basics. My Mom and I gab in French all the time and her husband slowly picked up on words here and there so he now understands. If it's a personal conversation that has nothing to do with him or anything that'll interest him - we speak in French and I don't see a problem with that and neither does he.
Get over it. If he wants to have a conversation in his native tongue, so be it. Who are you to get pissy about it? I understand being annoyed at first thinking they might be talking about you because people who are around others speaking a different language thing they are being talked about. If you've mentioned it once and he told you to get over it, get over it.
It'll also be a way for you to learn French.
lol jesus dude ok
and ha ha bas:p
and it's not really because i think they're talking about me. i'd be pretty ing stupid to stay with a guy whom i was convinced talks about me in french all the time when i'm right there lol i know they are just bullting but like jenny said, it'd be nice if i could join the convo or whatever. i guess it just makes me feel left out and ignored. but i'll get over it and learn french.

I'm sorry, I stopped reading there. You should work it out with him. I don't know if that answer was coherent with the question.

I bet this didn't occur to her. Even the sun revolves Slylee.
What if he met you half way and spoke English in a prissy French accent?

If you can pick up Japanese on the street while in Japan and speak it conversationally in a matter of days, how difficult can it really be for you to learn French from your boyfriend who speaks it all the time around you?

well because it's not like i'm taking lessons or anything or saying, "how do you say this?". in japan i was taught how to say things (by my dad and in class) and i just meant that i had a perfect accent and pronunciation...some people just have a knack for that stuff and i'm one of them. you can tell me how to say something in another language and i'll pretty much say it exactly the way the person said it and they are usually like "oh wow that sounded perfect"... that sorta thing.

Yes, I have a limited vocabulary. It's due to my lack of education. Ask anyone that knows me. I have no education at all. Nope. None.
