I don't have a picture of the actual unit yet, but here's what it looks like, spec's, etc.:

At that price, I'm sure it will be, but I have no doubt that I can sell it at a profit if I don't like it. I am a bit concerned about editing it from the front panel, but I already found a few very good free software editors for it. |

| That's why I'm not very interested in hardware FM. Programming FM can often be more complicated than programming subtractive synths, so I like having an easy interface with a clear layout for editing. |

It's a nice crash course for the July Komplete 5'ers. |

I made a little bass patch in FM8 and then got bored of that so I started laying on some off the effects in it.
Mainly the psychedelay and the talk-wah...
Get some trippy with that...
Me playing with the mod wheel... :p

I've been messing around with Massive and FM8, I really need to hunker down and try to make some beefier basslines though...

Guess what was made with what :D
But yeah, Komplete 5 is amazing, so worth being in debt for awhile. :toothless |

Nice thread, will check this stuff out as soon as I have the time!
the only thing I understand from all this yet is the principle: you can describe any periodical function (such as a soundwave) as an infinite sum of sine and cosine functions. Theoretical background (for the more mathematicly able among you): Fourier series .
example:
And now to lay the link with making awsome sounds! |
